Patent Chemistry Database: Key Features

The Patent Chemistry Database is a factual, structure-searchable database indexing reactions, substances and substance-related information from organic chemistry and life science patent publications.

  • Over 5.1 million structure-searchable reactions
    • Most records with complete experimenta reaction text
    • Reactions indexed with InfoChemClass allowing clustering of similar reactions and finding similar reactions in other reaction databases, e.g. CrossFire Beilstein

  • Over 5.3 million compounds (organic, inorganic, organometallic, and polymeric compounds) and related information:
    • Application and Bioactivity Data (including IC50, EC50, Ki-values)
    • Metabolism and Toxicological Data
    • Spectral Data Values (peaks)
    • Other Physical Data

  • Over 480,000 organic chemistry and life science patent publications (World, European since 1987, United States since 1976 excerpted)
    • Front-page data and complete claims text
    • Display of main Markush structures and Markush reactions since December 2003

  • Available online via CrossFire Commander 7.0/7.1 (online, in-house)

  • Access to original patent documents via (EspaceNet, US-Patent Office Server)
